No sooner said than done - George Galloway has trounced the Labour incumbent in the Bradford West by-election, winning the seat for his Respect party with a colossal 10,000 majority. I have many reservations about George, though his blistering performance in front of a US senate commitee a couple of years back was breathtaking. I look forward to seeing his withering contributions in the House of Commons once more.
Perhaps there is hope for this country after all.
