Very pleased to announce..

..the publication of the Kindle version of my new collection of verse Steady, Pilgrim which you can order directly from the link opposite. Please feel free to leave a review on Amazon - these reviews are always vital to getting any level of exposure. As always, any feedback is very welcome. I hope you enjoy what you read.

I will blog some of these new poems over the next few weeks so you can see where I'm at.

And let me repeat, at £0.99 or $0.99, this is much more stimulating and still less than half the price of a cup of coffee.

My son, my executioner - Donald Hall

My son, my executioner,
I take you in my arms,
Quiet and small and just astir,
And whom my body warms.

Sweet death, small son, our instrument
Of immortality,
Your cries and hungers document
Our bodily decay.

We twenty-five and twenty-two,
Who seemed to live forever,
Observe enduring life in you
And start to die together.
